Coldplay is currently on their Music of the Spheres World Tour, which includes stops in Spain. The British rock band will perform at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona on May 24th and 25th. However, their last scheduled concert in November in Malaysia has faced opposition from the president of the Islamic Party of Malaysia. The group is set to end their tour on November 22nd at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. The political leader has requested that the concert be cancelled, stating that it promotes a culture of hedonism and perversion in the country and does not bring anything good to religion, race, or the country. Chris Martin responded to the request publicly on national radio, stating that he feels a great sense of love and warmth every time he meets people from Malaysia. He also invited the leader to attend the show, stating that they love all people and religions and that everyone is welcome to their performance. "We want you to come to our performance and feel free to be yourself and let everyone else be themselves. Anyone who is not happy that we are coming, we're sorry, but we love you too," Martin said. Despite the opposition, Coldplay has not cancelled their November concert in Malaysia and plans to continue their tour around the world.
