Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" is one of the most anticipated events for Brazilian fans in 2023. The tour will kick off in Rio de Janeiro on November 18 and 19, followed by three shows in São Paulo on November 24, 25, and 26. Sabrina Carpenter, who opened for Ariana Grande in Brazil in 2017, will be the special guest for the opening shows. However, fans should be careful when buying tickets for the shows. As soon as the tickets went on sale on the official website, parallel websites started selling them at inflated prices. Some sites were charging up to six times the original ticket price, which is illegal. Carolina Vesentini, a lawyer from Idec, warns that buying tickets from such sites is considered a crime against the popular economy and can result in imprisonment and fines. She encourages consumers to report such sites to Procon, providing evidence such as emails, photos, and videos to support the investigation. Idec also advises fans to purchase tickets only from official websites to avoid the risk of buying fake tickets. "Always try to buy from official websites, as you will have a company to demand your rights from in case of any losses. Once purchased from scalpers or parallel websites, there is still a risk of acquiring fake tickets," says Idec. The official ticket seller for Taylor Swift's shows in Brazil is Time for Fun, but the company has not yet commented on the issue. Fans can purchase tickets for the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo shows on the official website. The prices range from R$190 to R$1050, depending on the seating category. Don't miss the chance to see Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" in Brazil, but make sure to buy your tickets from official websites and avoid ticket scalpers.
