Popnable has been created in 2015 in order to promote local music in 9 countries. Until then, Popnable Charts has been viewed by millions.
Popnable imposes a new model of ranking videos. All charts compete real trending videos in certain countries. Criteria are simply trusted and reliable - number of views on video platforms.
If most charts all over the world include English-based hits to their chart lists and exclude local-speaking music, Popnable serves and presents all music without any restrictions.
No matter of language barrier or genre.
Popnable supports the musical diversity.
Popnable is a worldwide music media serving music charts based on the number of views on video platforms.
Data is given through YouTube API and retrieved, collected and processed by Popnable.
Popnable provides music charts since July 4, 2015.
Popnable operates on 100+ markets all over the world.
Popnable is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, European Union.
Tracking Bot
Popnable measures 38 797 YouTube Channels every day in order to collect accurate data about each brand new video.
Tracking Bot of Popnable is an automatic process which crawls each uploaded video on particular YouTube channel and saves data about number of the views, likes, and dislikes.
Once when the data is received all charts are ready to be aired.
Tracking Bot has 3 main goals:
Looks up for trending channels on YouTube and suggesting them for adding in Popnable's repository
Retrieves data about each brand new video and suggest it for adding in Popnable's repository. There have few requirements to be met:
- video must have at least 20% lower views comparing the last chart position had through last week.
- video must be musical
Reads information from YouTube Videos weekly such as the number of views, likes, and dislikes.
Human Processing
Each Channel and video suggested by the Tracking Bot pass through human processing.
- The Administrator approves all videos, edit their titles using standard for naming.
- The Administrator approves or declines reports given by Popnable's users
- The Administrator approves all artists, edit their names using standard for titling.

Popnable describes 2 types of YouTube Channels:
- International Channel: It's WorldWide Channel which uploads videos from different countries and genres.
- Local Channel: It's located and dedicated to one country.

Trend determines a group of videos based on property. The property could be country, event or any apportion data.
Each video is linked to only one country but could be involved in more trends. For example, all videos appear in particular country trend and also in WorldWide Top 40 Trend.
How video is related to the particular trend (country)?
If video belongs to International Channel, then it is bounded to country describing the artist performed it.
If video belongs to Local Channel, then it is bounded to country describing the channel.
Chart Methodology
Popnable reads data collected by the Tracking Bot and analyzed it by itself (automatically).
Received Information is divided into certain bunches grouped by trends.
Data about the number of views, likes, and dislikes are retrieved weekly.

All charts appear on Popnable immediately after processes above are finished.
