На 6-ти януари млади мъже се хвърлят в реката за здраве и мъжка сила, а мъжки отрочета до една година се изкъпват в студена вода, за да станат мъже. Хвърлянето на Кръста е много стар обичай, който символизира връщането на Животворното начало на водата. Който Го хване ще има здрава и успешна година.
