Morat: "if We Do A Documentary Series It Would Be Positive And Not Amplifying A Tragedy"

  It is missed, but it seems that little by little we are closer to returning and that is why Morat, one of the most important bands in the pop scene, wanted to share with all the subscribers of Amazon Prime Video the closing of their last tour: the last great show of Lost Bullets .

"Now you can't do concerts of that size, but it feels closer and closer that this type of event, in one way or another, can be done again," says Simón, a member of the group, in an interview for LOS40. " If this 'live concert' had come out 8 months ago it would be something tragic for what we were not losing at that time . However, the panorama is different now and we feel that releasing it on Prime Video is a sign of hope, a sign that we will be able to do it again very soon. "

Morat's last great concert was on December 15, 2019 at the WiZink Center in Madrid . It was the finishing touch to a tour that took the boys to travel around the world. Homelessness is inevitable and memories come to mind quickly. "We have countless memories because it was our first tour in the United States," says Juan Pablo Isaza. "We spent a month sleeping on the bus and playing in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago ... We played places we never thought we were going to play."

And he adds: "We also toured in Mexico and did two concerts in Bogotá that were very special and extremely rewarding. The closing in Madrid was the perfect closing to all those experiences . Madrid is the city where we started playing and ending the tour here. It suited us like a glove ".

"In addition, we have a very special relationship with our entire work team," Martín continues. "When we go on tour we are not the four of us alone. We are a team of fifteen people that goes up and down. That in the end, after spending several years with that rhythm, it becomes like a family."

The Lost Bullets tour stop in Madrid was very special. So much so that Amazon Prime Video has wanted to include it in its catalog to enjoy the experience from the sofa. What we did not know is that Morat, now that he has his own 'live concert' on a platform, would also dare to take the step and record a documentary series as stars such as Demi Lovato or Taylor Swift have done, although the approach, according to them, it would be very different.

"I have a theme with that type of documentary because many times they appeal to the more yellow side of the artist, " says Juan Pablo. "If we ever do I would like it to be a positive documentary and not amplify a tragedy that we may have. It's what I like about Lost Bullets from Amazon, which is not a documentary, but is 100% positive. It has no drama. and that's nice. "
