Diamond Platnumz's father, Mzee Abdul Juma, has responded to controversies that his son is not taking good care of him. It comes after reports, circulating on social media, indicate that he is not enjoying the same luxury life as the Tanzanian bongo star, his mother and siblings. "Mzee Abdul Juma is not the biological father of Diamond Platnumz," said the mother of Tanzanian bongo star Mama Dangote a few weeks ago. But, the man continues to proclaim loud and clear the paternity of the star of the Tanzanian bongo. In an interview, Mzee Abdul Juma revealed that it is normal in life for a son not to bear his father's burdens and maybe God foresaw him. He added that if he died, it was not an obligation for his son (Diamond Platnumz) to bury him like other people might. He tried to soften his thoughts, saying it might be possible because maybe Diamond Platnumz might be out of the country, on tour, or maybe in Tanzania, but too busy with his business. “I am convinced that when I die, it does not say that he will attend my funeral. Only, being a man of the people, I can be buried by other people. He could be out of the country or around, and he has no way to do it, ”he said. According to Mzee Abdul Juma, history will always remember that he was the singer's father and hoped that Diamond might not have to regret one day for not accepting his own blood, therefore crying over it. As much as it seemed to be speaking a blessing, the words were treated by fans of the “Jeje” hitmaker as a subtle way of saying otherwise and hoping it would happen. This outing from Mzee Abdul Juma comes just days after Mama Dangote defended her son against criticism from many that Diamond did not offer the same luxury to his flesh and blood. She also revealed that Abdul has a much older child than Diamond who should take care of him as well, and lamented that everyone is trying to set their sights on their son.
