Flex and Top Notch would no longer work together. The contract expired a year ago and has not been renewed thereafter, a spokesman for SPEC, the rapper's management agency, told ANP on Thursday .
The fact that the collaboration was ended was not communicated at the time, according to SPEC. Ronnie Flex was still on the Top Notch website on Thursday.
According to ANP, Flex posted a number of messages on Twitter in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The rapper later removed these lyrics.
He wrote: "That you let me go is a shame for en music .. I love hip hop and the culture with all my heart, I gave you hits. I gave other artists of your hits. I gave you everything given what I have ... it's a shame, I really mean that. "
'It is a shame'
The rapper continued, "I've given more than I can give and I've been paid with finessings ." This is an urban word for playing someone. "It's a shame, I wouldn't do this to an artist. I'm always honest and sincere I don't deserve this." Flex claims to feel "sore and deeply hurt".
"Now I have to do it myself and I'm going to do it. I've always given everything to be abused ... it's not fair. Name a better nl album than Rémi ." The 2017 album Rémi was one of Flex's great successes.
It is the second time in a month that Top Notch and one of its artists have split up. At the end of March, the record label announced that it would immediately stop working with the discredited Bilal Wahib.
