Colombian singer Shakira has left her home in Barcelona after being handed an eviction notice by the father of her former lover, footballer Gerard Pique. According to Page Six, Juan Pique, the athlete's father, sent an email to Shakira asking her to vacate the house by April 30 or pay compensation. In response, the singer announced on her social media accounts that she was leaving Barcelona and starting a new chapter in search of happiness. Shakira had been living in the house in Barcelona with her family for eight years. She has now moved to Miami, USA. Earlier, it was reported that Shakira had a fight with Pique's mother, Montserrat Bernabeu. The conflict between the artist and the athlete's mother arose after it became known that Bernabeu had helped her son hide his infidelity. Pique was seeing a new girl while still in a relationship with Shakira, and the new couple met at Bernabeu's house. Meanwhile, Bernabeu comforted Shakira, who had complained about Pique's infidelity.
