Music legends Kate Bush and George Michael will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023, according to NME. The 38th annual ceremony will take place on November 3, 2023, in New York City. Kate Bush was nominated for inclusion in the Hall of Fame three times before finally being inducted this year. Her hit song "Running Up That Hill" gained renewed popularity, leading to her induction. It is unclear whether the reclusive singer will attend the ceremony. George Michael was included in the Hall of Fame thanks to a traditional fan vote organized by the event's organizers. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honors artists whose first singles were released at least 25 years ago. In addition to Bush and Michael, the 2023 inductees will include singer Cheryl Crow, rock group Rage Against the Machine, rapper Missy Elliott, the Spinners, and composer Willie Nelson. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was established in 1986 and includes some of the most iconic musicians of all time, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, James Brown, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Sam Cooke, and the Everly Brothers. In January, it was announced that musicians Snoop Dogg, Sade, and Teddy Riley would be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2023.
