Britney Spears Responds To Threats From Ex-husband Over Children's Move

Britney Spears has signed a permit for her two sons to move to Hawaii, USA, and responded to threats from her ex-husband Kevin Federline. Federline had set a deadline for the voluntary provision of permission for the move, which Spears fulfilled.

Britney Spears has responded to threats from her ex-husband Kevin Federline over the move of their two sons to Hawaii, USA. The pop star’s lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, sent an official letter to Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, stating that he did not expect a dispute to arise. When Kaplan first contacted him about the move, Rosengart asked him to keep the matter "confidential for the dignity of all involved parties, including the children." "It was a great disappointment that you decided to make this issue public, thereby creating unnecessary drama and a false 'dispute'," Rosengart wrote to Kaplan. He concluded by calling Spears a "loving and caring mother, devotedly supporting her children" despite their estrangement. Earlier, Federline had threatened Spears with legal action over the move of their children. He had set a deadline for the voluntary provision of permission for the move, which Spears fulfilled by signing the permit.
