Britney Spears is known for many things, some of them stemming from numerous controversies, but also for her incredible voice. The singer of 'Baby One More Time' has proven that few people can reach the musical notes that her vocal cords can. The princess of pop has always embraced this genre, although her range of styles is much broader. In this sense, the American artist also excels in country music and folk.

In a 2017 video that has now gone viral on TikTok, the songwriter can be seen starting to speak to the audience, stating that it feels 'illegal' to go on stage without her music.

This marked the beginning of a small speech in the middle of a concert where she did not hesitate to criticize the press for how they had treated her over the years. 'It's crazy because in one moment they can destroy you, and it's really horrible, and in the next minute, you're on top of the world,' she commented.

The highlight of the show came when Britney started singing Bonnie Raitt's 'Something to Talk About.' It was then that attendees, as well as those who have seen the video, claimed that it didn't seem like she was the one singing.

The video has had such an impact on her fans that it has already accumulated over 16 million views. 'It sounds exactly the same. It's her real voice,' the excited fans claimed. Among other comments, there were also those who stated that it was a shame she hadn't been trained in that vocal range because it was evident that she had great potential in it.

Many of the comments also suggested that she should do the same as Taylor Swift and start singing with her 'real voice.' Others even suggested that she should re-record her greatest hits or create an album with this new vocal range. However, the singer is currently focused on other projects and personal matters, and to the disappointment of many, she is not thinking about her music career at the moment.
