Saad Lamjarred, the world's most controversial performer, has two charges of rape.

Saad Lamjarred is undoubtedly the most famous singer from Morocco. But he has inflicted the wrath of millions of people around the world after receiving several accusations of rape.

The first doubt comes in 2010

In the winter of 2010, Saad Lamjarred was first arrested in New York on charges of raping a woman. The prosecutor' withdraws the charges six years later after an agreement has been reached during the course of the case.

That same year, the singer was re-arrested at the Paris Marriott Hotel Champs Elysées.

Saad's scheduled concert at the Palais des congrès de Paris is canceled. The accusation is the same - rape a woman from the French origin. With the help of Morocco's King Mohammed VI, the artist managed to hire attorneys to defend him.

In 2017, a woman of Moroccan descent claims she was violently assaulted by Saad two years earlier. This accusation she pulls it off under the pressure of her family.

A year later, 2018, Saad was once again arrested in Saint-Tropez. Although the performer does not admit it to the truth the prosecution is sentenced to pay € 150,000 and is banned from leaving France.

A problem with cocaine

According to the prosecution, the fatal night on October 26, when he was detained, was reached because of the use of cocaine and alcohol. According to the case reports, the 20-year-old victim has escaped her hotel room and reported at the hotel's reception desk, from where the police were called. The medical expertise has confirmed for multiple abrasions and injuries on her body.

Social media against Saad

After the latest charge (26 October 2018), a social networking campaign begins. Thousands of Internet users share messages using "Lamjarred out" and "massacres" (we will not be silenced). The purpose of the campaign is to get the radio stations to take off all of the artist's songs from their playlists. The radio - 2M and Hit Radio have already done it.
