Amy Winehouse's Father Revealed A Detail That Made Millions Shiver

Despite the time that has passed since the singer's death, her father recently said that the difficulty remains the same, especially when they occasionally run into her clothes that are left hanging on the hanger in the family's storage warehouses. Here a

This coming July it will be a decade since the early and surprising death of British rock star Amy Winehouse who was found lifeless in her London home, and the family are still trying to cope with the tragic loss, and recently, due to the great difficulty, they also decided to sell her clothes and belongings.

In order to try and alleviate the pain a little, Winehouse's parents announced over the weekend that they would soon put the singer's clothes up for auction and donate all proceeds to charity. "Every time the family goes to the grocery store it kills us to see her favorite dresses hanging on the hanger," Amy's father, Mitch, told the British Mirror. "We decided to put her performance clothes up for auction because it's really hard for us to see them hanging there."

"We decided together that we would keep our most precious and personal belongings," the father added, but as mentioned, the costumes with which she appeared will be on sale this November, some of the singer's iconic and memorable costumes, such as the yellow mini dress she wore to the 2007 British Music Awards. That Amy wore on the day of her death and in her last appearance about a month ago.

As you may recall, last April the BBC announced the release of  Amy Winehouse: 10 Years On ( Amy Winehouse: 10 Years Later , in free translation), a new docu-film marking the tenth anniversary of her death made in collaboration with Janice, Amy's mother. "I don't feel like the world knows the truth about Amy, about the amazing girl I raised," Janice said on the day of the film's announcement. "I am very much looking forward to the opportunity given to me to offer an understanding of her roots and give a deep look into the real Amy."
