Bi-2 Talks About Shooting And Killing Superheroes In A New Video

The group "Bi-2" has released its first single since the beginning of 2021 - the song and video "We don't need a hero." This was reported in a press release received by Lenta.ru on Wednesday, June 16.

As the musicians said, this time in the video they played the role of villains from an ancient organization that, throughout the history of mankind, has been engaged in the elimination of heroes in order to keep society under control. "First of all, this is a dystopia ... Spoiler alert: we play the bad ones and we kill the superhero," said Shura Bi-2.

The filming of the video took place over four days at several locations; in total, about 200 people were employed in them. In the process, more than 1,500 blank shots were fired and 400 meters of elastic bandages were spent.

At the same time, you can see references to different eras in the video. “We mix a lot of genres: there is noir, there are Greek tragedies and dystopian vibes, there are action scenes - and everything was shot very beautifully, everything is very spectacular. Blockbuster in the style of clips of the early 2000s towards rock and a little with the aesthetics of anime! " - explained the director of the video Max Shishkin, who had previously worked on other videos of the group for the songs "Inferno" and "Depression".

The track "We Don't Need a Hero" will appear on the band's eleventh studio album, scheduled for release in 2022. At the same time, it will be possible to hear the song live already on June 20 - "Bi-2" will give a NewBest XL concert in Luzhniki, which will become the largest in the history of the group. The musicians are expected to perform both new songs and their major hits.

“We have been skating this program since 2019, but in the process, songs are added, part of the scenography is changing, so that the Luzhniki Stadium will have the most powerful scale!” Shura Bi-2 emphasized.
