Snoop Dogg Wants To Perform At The Coronation Of King Charles Iii

American rapper Snoop Dogg has announced his intention to perform at the coronation ceremony of King Charles III. He feels a close connection to the royal family and sees his performance as a sign of respect and love for the ruling dynasty.

According to The Sun, the hip-hop star wants to participate in the celebratory concert in honor of the new British monarch. Snoop Dogg emphasized that he wants to appear at the event as a sign of gratitude to the late Queen Elizabeth II. The 51-year-old musician recalled that in the mid-90s, he was accused of a serious crime, which led to the authorities banning him from entering the UK. Upon learning of this, the Queen herself stood up for Snoop, and the court's decision was overturned. Snoop also noted that his music has influenced Princes William and Harry, who love his music, and that's why he intends to perform at the upcoming ceremony. In February, it was reported that British performers Ed Sheeran and Adele had declined to perform at King Charles III's coronation concert. Sources close to Sheeran said that the artist was not invited. The reason for Adele's refusal was not reported. The official coronation ceremony of the new monarch of Great Britain, King Charles III, will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The current ruler became King of Great Britain after the death of his mother, Elizabeth II.
