Celine Dion, the Grammy-winning singer from Quebec, announced on Thursday the release of her new album "Love Again." This album features five new songs and some of her previous hits, and will be the soundtrack of a romantic comedy movie with the same name. The album will be released on May 12, along with the movie's premiere in Canadian cinemas. This is the first album from the artist since "Courage" in 2019. In December 2020, Dion revealed on Instagram that she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome. She explained that the disease caused progressive muscle stiffness, making it difficult for her to walk and use her vocal cords, which is why she had to cancel her European tour scheduled for February 2021. "Love Again" is not only a new album, but also a way for Dion to express her feelings and emotions about her diagnosis. "I think it's a wonderful feel-good story, and I hope people enjoy it, and also enjoy the new music," said Dion in a statement. Dion has been a beloved artist for decades, with a career spanning over 30 years. She has sold over 200 million records worldwide and has won five Grammy Awards.
